Volume 2001 Issue 2       April 11, 2001

The second issue of the CoronaGram is to answer the questions posed in CoronaGram 1 and pose questions for CoronaGram 3. If you find the CoronaGram interesting and useful please spread the word, if you have a concern please tell me first.

The Corona Technology Course website and the
CoronaGram are brought to you by James R. Booker Consulting Inc. and Ox Creek Energy Assoc Inc. who present the Corona Technology Courses for industry and utilities.

In the last issue I stated that I would look for the existing standards regarding electrical
corona for the devices it is found on, the first reference website I turned to produced 15 papers written about or related to the definition of electrical corona covering only a part of the industrial corona topics I was interested in. When I queried "insulators" I received 237
entries. A need for speed reading? Actually they divide pretty clearly into industrial and
utility papers.
